I study how people orient themselves through place, time, memory, and the things they make.

Since 1998, I have worked across visual communication and technology, creating digital experiences, brand systems, and practical tools for creative and corporate partners.

That work taught me to read complex material closely — systems, histories, records, and lived experience — and translate it into clear visual form. I bring that same investigative attention to place and time: what they hold, what they repeat, what they remember, and what they leave behind.

Today, my independent artistic work centers on scent and the relationship between fragrance, flora, place, and memory. My design practice explores history, maps, repeating patterns, calendars, and the visual language of personal and regional identity.

I am interested in what happens when a place is viewed through time: what remains, what changes, what repeats, and what returns. Current work includes cartographic editions, personalized place-based map systems, original repeating patterns, and time-based design developed for print, packaging, objects, and licensing.

My professional background also includes hands-on technology support, design instruction, and technology education. Teaching strengthened my ability to explain complex processes clearly, work with different learning styles, and make unfamiliar tools approachable for engaged, motivated learners.

I research, develop a visual direction, and carry the work through to a clean, usable final form. Some projects are focused commissions, some are longer collaborations, and some begin as an early idea that needs shape.

My earlier work brought together fine art, web development, and technical drafting. It continued to a variety of sectors including but not limited to engineering, entertainment, music publishing, aviation, and property management. I created designs that demanded both creative judgment and technical expertise for offline and online use, frequently paired with design-led SEO and SEM consulting to help that work stand out, rank, and convert.
